Delete your Tirix account

You can delete your Tirix reader account directly in the app. Open Settings → My Tirix account → Delete Tirix account, review the confirmation, type DELETE, and confirm. Tirix will ask you to verify your identity again with your password or Google sign-in before completing deletion.

Data removed

Deletion removes your sign-in account, public profile details such as your nickname and profile photo, profile customisations, private account records, submitted reports, block list, notifications, account-linked reactions and votes, and saved/favourite choices. Unpublished tracked story submissions are deleted. Saved posts, read history, and recent searches stored on your device are also cleared.

Data that may remain

Comments and replies you wrote are anonymised and their text is cleared. A “Comment deleted” placeholder may remain so the conversation and replies still make sense. Published stories remain available anonymously, with their link to your account removed. Aggregated totals that no longer identify an account may remain. Tirix may retain limited records when needed for safety, fraud prevention, or legal obligations.

If you cannot access your account, email tirixstudio@gmail.com from the email address registered to your Tirix account. Include “Account deletion request” in the subject. We may ask you to verify ownership; your account remains active until we can verify and process the request.
